Pedestrian Broadcast Spreading
With an adjustable spread pattern up to 8m, our spreader is capable of covering large areas. We cover carparks comfortably. However, we are far better equipped for paths, steps, alleys etc than a traditional gritting wagon.
White Salt Stocked
We stock Salt. We always try to use only white salt – avoiding the brown residue from traditional rock salt being walked into your buildings.
We Monitor Ground Temperatures
We subscribe to a ground temperature monitoring service. We receive detailed forecasts for every site we service. We always aim to get the salt down before ice forms.
Advanced Notice
Once the forecast has established a need to apply salt, you will receive an SMS text message confirming that we will be attending.
Key Holders
You can trust us with gate keys. All keys are tagged with a site number, never an address. Keys are never copied and securely stored when not in use.
Logs & Record Keeping
At every frost event, we supply you with a copy of the temperature forecast – proof of why we grit. We also provide a log of the time we applied salt, any notes and a site photograph where possible.
