This is where we measure up and discuss any areas of particular concern. We ensure that we understand what is required and learn the layout of your site.
3. We produce a quotation.
We provide a custom, no obligation quotation. This is supplied along with examples of all our paperwork and agreements. If you are happy to proceed then:
4. We add your site to our round and begin ground temperature monitoring for your postcode.
We receive daily forecasts for your postcode. This is a detailed hourly forecast showing both air and ground temperatures. Should this forecast a ground frost event, you will be added to that nights gritting list and will receive a notification that we will attend.
5. We attend your site and apply salt.
We endeavor to apply salt BEFORE ice forms. This is usually late at night but on occasion may be very early the following morning.
6. Records are completed
We recognise that for most of our customers, this is about reducing liability. We log time and date of attendance and take a picture of salt applied to your premises. You receive a copy of this log at the end of the week, along with the detailed forecasts used to make all gritting decisions.
7. You receive an invoice
We invoice weekly for all gritting done during the week. We appreciate your prompt payment.
